Scenes

Under the bridge down town

The crew retreats under a bridge in the park to check the contents of the safe. The safe contains a number of documents linking the holy conclave to the the recent crimes and they’re also orchestrating heroes to solve those problems.

Ortega is well chuffed

Agent Ortega looks over the materials and is incredibly happy with the results even if it was a bit more smash and grabby than planned. She congratulates the team and excuses herself as this information needs processing and she has a lot of new work to do. The crew is all still a bit too excited from their triumph and hang out in the park to eat poor quality pizza before going to bed.

Nathalie and Reverb

The crew is hanging out in the park and meet Nathalie who is there meeting her boyfriend Anthony (aka Reverb). We realize that she doesn’t know that Anthony has powers but its pretty clear that everyone except Nathalie recognize each other. After a bit of sizing each other up and posturing, everyone is alerted to a villain attack at a hotel downtown.

Anthony excuses himself because he “forgot he had something to do” while the rest of the team heads directly into danger. If Nathalie didn’t fully comprehend who these three teens and slime monster were yet, she does now.

Emergency at the Penthouse

Techromancer attacks the penthouse suite of a hotel that is currently hosting an event Eddie Rust and Mayor Stevens. A huge fight ensues and the team is ultimately victorious against the Techromancer.

Reverb shows up during the fight and declares that the crusaders are on their way but its very clearly a bluff at this point so Servo and the others convince him to join in fighting instead of posturing because The Techromancer isn’t one to stand down without good reason.
