Scenes
Dante Comes home
Dante talks to his grandmother and tells her about the day. He finally talks about his mom appearing to him. They have a good discussion about what her opinion still means to him and he tries to put it behind him. His father comes home and the conversation is cut short as The Techromancer is something they still don’t know how to talk about as a family.
A job from Ortega
The crew is called together to do a job for Agent Ortega. She thanked Angela and Stagehand for the job they did in stopping the villain earlier. She wants the crew to get some information. She presents two plans. One is to try to get involved in whatever jobs the conclave is doing and figure it out as guns for hire. Angela was very opposed to this idea and stormed out. The second idea was to sneak in, get incriminating evidence, and hop out.
Angela finds Fault line
Angela tries to get into trouble but is ultimately put on the elevator and sent down to the lobby. Half way down she decides to wrench open the doors and ask boldly, “Who here isn’t a NARC”. Fault line, a reformed hero listens to her complaints and concerns about her handler and is ultimately told that she’s got to find a way to follow her gut but also trust Ortega because chances are Ortega knows a lot more about the situation than she does.
The crew reunite. Stagehand is an embarrassment
Dante tries to address the group and talk about what the plan for the job is. During this Angela casually refers to Stagehand as “Her Boyfriend” to his great elation. Dante isn’t really interested in this because the last time he commented on it Angela lashed out (Used influence and made him mark a condition). So in ignoring this, Stagehand gets a little huffy and forces Dante to admit he was wrong for not celebrating with stagehand and instead focusing on all the ways this relationship might (and will) go wrong at the worst possible time.
The worst possible time
The crew talks about the two approaches. Dante advocates for the stealth approach as He, Stagehand, and Bethany all have skills that might be useful in infiltration and Angela makes a good heavy. Angela throws her support behind this idea but also wants Dante to stop talking about it because she’d rather just do it.
Dante Gears Up
Before the heist, Dante hits up the stash of The Spyder. A tech super hero who is good at hacking and tech. But Dante doesn’t notice the camera that records him stealing the gear.
